Mark Dayman talks about his love of LPs... 

"The first Iron Maiden record I bought was The Killers LP from Woolworths in Shrewsbury. And that was it. I was obsessed. I fell into a besotted world of Iron Maiden music and Iron Maiden art work. I would stand up the Iron Maiden LP cover whilst listening to the music and avidly draw Eddie.

Move on twenty years and I still loved listening to Iron Maiden on my iPod but I missed the 12 inch LPs. So I dug them out from a big dusty cardboard box under the bed and made solid oak frames to display the covers. They now hang proudly in my workshop office and I decided to make more so I could sell to other vinyl enthusiasts.

We might not play these records anymore but it is a shame to hide all the art work away. The way the frames are made mean you can change the record cover easily and constantly renew your record collection. I call them 'Posters for Grown-ups'. Up the Iron's! "

Existing frames are made from solid oak, but small batches can be made to order from any wood. The frames fix flush to the wall with one screw hidden behind the LP cover.
